Bandpass Filter used in Laser Line Clean Up

Laser diode wavelength shifts with temperature due to changes in the semiconductor's bandgap energy. As temperature increases, the bandgap decreases, causing the laser to emit at longer wavelengths. This demonstration shows how a bandpass filter can be used to maintain a stable output wavelength despite temperature-induced shifts in the laser diode.
